Recruitment Manager – (Maternity Cover)
An exciting opening has arisen for an experienced Recruitment Manager to join a successful global consulting firm in our London office on a fixed term contract basis (12 months). You will be responsible for leading recruitment for both graduate and experienced hires and partnering with the business to ensure the delivery of the day to day recruiting activities. You will report to the HR Director and the UK Lead Partner and be responsible for the daily operational activity of the Recruitment function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition Leadership
Own and manage end‑to‑end recruitment for graduate, experienced hire, and senior roles across the UK practice.
Partner closely with service line leads (Microsoft, Supply Chain & Operations, Health, Salesforce, etc.) to understand workforce needs and design targeted hiring plans.
Provide interview coaching, hiring guidance, and market insight to stakeholders at all levels.
2. Recruitment Strategy & Process Excellence
Develop and refine recruitment processes aligned to internal governance standards.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives including technology adoption, workflow optimisation, and candidate experience enhancements.
Oversee diversity, equity & inclusion hiring initiatives, e.g. female talent acceleration and Women in STEM campaigns.
Maintain compliance across GDPR, UK employment law, right‑to‑work, and data‑retention policies.
3. Employer Branding & Outreach
Work with marketing colleagues on employer branding strategy and content creation for the careers site, LinkedIn, social media, and campus materials.
Manage engagement with internal communities to showcase authentic employee stories and project work.
Coordinate UK presence at target universities including careers fairs, presentations, and assessment days.
4. Technology, Tools & Innovation
Own the continuous optimisation of our ATS (Teamtailor).
Champion the use of AI tools in the recruitment process
5. Stakeholder & Partner Support
Support Partners on resourcing, hiring strategy, and workforce planning across their portfolios.
Provide recruitment analytics, dashboards, and insights to leadership.
Deliver high-quality candidate briefings, hiring packs, and salary/benefits guidance.
The Person:
Skills & Experience
· Proven talent acquisition experience within consulting, technology, or professional services.
· Strong stakeholder management skills including direct support to senior leadership.
· Experience managing employer branding activity and recruitment campaigns.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple hiring priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
· Comfort with recruitment analytics, ATS platforms and AI‑driven tools.
· Results oriented, problem-solving approach.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· Ability to prioritise and manage the expectations around you.
· Demonstrable experience with recruitment metrics.
· Ability to build and manage interpersonal relationships across all levels of the company as well as external partners.
