Programme Support Analyst (Part-time 12-month FTC)
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to support a large-scale warehouse automation programme, playing a critical part in enabling effective governance and executive oversight. The role is part time and requires coverage of 3 days per week with some flexibility across 5 days due to the variable nature of some leadership meetings. The role requires on-site work for the 3 days based outside Leicester.
The programme support role will sit within a complex, fast-moving delivery environment and will provide high-quality Project Administration / Executive Assistant support to the senior lead Engineer. The successful candidate will act as a trusted extension of the programme leadership, ensuring meetings, information, and documentation are well-managed, accurate, and actionable.
The support with a focus on:
Meeting Attendance & Coverage
Attend meetings where the lead Engineer is unavailable
Aim to attend in person for key meetings to ensure audio clarity and transcription accuracy
Maintain a presence on‑site or nearby for responsiveness
Notes, Documentation & Transcription Management
Take clear, structured, accurate notes
Download and clean up Teams transcripts
Combine their own notes with Teams transcription into a single coherent summary
Convert raw information into actionable insights, including:
Decisions
Risks
Issues
Required Lead Engineer review items
Follow‑up actions
Handover Pack Preparation
The Programme Support will compile a weekly Lead Engineer handover pack containing:
A clear summary of all meetings attended
Relevant extracts from Teams transcripts (cleaned and structured)
Identified risks, issues, or decisions requiring attention
Supporting documentation from the contractor
Administrative Support
Scheduling support if necessary
Ensuring meeting invites, agenda packs, and materials are organised
Tracking action closure and ownership
Maintaining organised records to support audit requirements under MF1
